Sheet Metal Contracting Company, founded in 1910, was originally located in downtown Wilmington, Delaware. Needing more space, the company moved to their present location, a 24,000 sq. foot facility in Bear, DE in 1978. Since its inception Sheet Metal has relied on the skill of its hands-on craftsmen, yet as times have changed the company has adapted by transforming themselves into a modern fabrication facility utilizing all types of computer-aided equipment.

Sheet Metal has always considered its specialty, low volume and prototype production. This type of work requires a dedication to quality and expert craftsmanship which the company has always strived for. From hand -formed architectural cornices to specialty chemical production vessels, for almost one hundred years Sheet Metal has done it.

Because the business has been family owned since it was founded, it has shrewdly invested in its real estate and equipment. As a result, Sheet Metal customers benefit by seeing less overhead passed along to their jobs.
